Bigg Boss 2 : A changed Monika in Bigg Boss
Change is inevitable in life. The house of Bigg Boss is no exception to this very old adage. Monika Bedi, the wild card re-entry in the house is a completely changed person this time.
Monika Bedi, a beautiful and innocent looking girl with a very scandalous past came in the house of Bigg Boss initially with lots of apprehensions. This was the first time she was coming openly in front of camera after a stint in the jail. She looked very scared and most of her conversation was in subdued whispers.
Monika was not ready to open up in the house. She would only talk to Rahul Mahajan in hushed voice. She was in constant fear that closeness with any housemate may put her in the tight spot. She wanted to evade any uncomfortable questions about her past. This prevented her from feeling a part of the house.
Consequently, an early eviction happened. Her re-entry in the house was favoured by the public because they want to know her. Monika has learnt her lessons from the mistakes she made last time. Now, she goes out of her way to talk to all the members of the house unlike the last time. On the contrary, her feelings for her ‘best friend’ are not same. She is clearly avoiding him.
Even the housemates have given her warm welcome. They all have noticed this change in her. Monika then and now are two different personalities. She looks quite confident and more at ease. She has come well prepared to tackle any kind of situation in the house.
Monika’s new found comfort with all the housemates in the house is because life has taken a positive turn. Bigg Boss helped her earn the respect and work she was desperately in need of. She got a house for herself with the support of Sanjay Nirupam.
This reality show can indeed been the best thing that could have happened to her after a painful and poignant life Monika had to live. Cheers to this lady who has again started afresh and to Bigg Boss for letting it happen.
