Bigg Boss 2: Rahul And Raja Unite For Nominations

Sometimes enemies can become life guards and a unique symbiotic relationship starts. Such is the case with the two most popular housemates: Raja Chaudhary and Rahul Mahajan. After being repeatedly nominated by other housemates and by each other, the unexpected has happened – their alliance.

Raja and Rahul realized that nominating each other was weakening their position in the house. The other housemates were taking undue advantage of their fights. The trauma of being nominated for the fourth time made them form a team. They made a silent promise that they would not vote against each other.

The outcome of this alliance is an altogether different set of nominated people. Their relationship of mutual trust has saved them this week. The results of this week’s nominations are out. The nominated housemates are Ashutosh Kaushik, Ahsaan Qureshi and Debojit Saha.

This is the first time Ahsaan Qureshi has been nominated. The housemates gave it a funny name ‘test drive’ for him. In the previous week, on being provoked, Ahsaan had himself asked the housemates to nominate him. He wanted to know what the audience felt for him. The only reason he had escaped nomination in all these nine weeks is because no housemate had a valid reason to nominate him.

The members who nominated Ahsaan Qureshi are Debojit Saha, Rahul Mahajan and Monika Bedi. Debojit had developed a dislike for him after he showed disrespect for his art and cited it as a reason for nominating him in the past. Monika Bedi gave the reason that he was too harsh at the time of nomination.

Ashutosh Kaushik was nominated by Raja Chaudhary, Monika Bedi, Zulfi Syed and Ahsaan Qureshi. The grounds for his nomination varied from his high-headed attitude to calculative mind. Ahsaan Qureshi remarked that he is made to feel like an outsider by Diana Hayden and him.

The last nomination of the week is the singer Debojit Saha. The common reason given by most of the members who nominated him was his hyper sensitive attitude. He takes all the jokes too seriously and personally. He was nominated by Rahul Mahajan who happens to be his good friend. Rahul was very apologetic about nominating him and that is only a polite way of backstabbing a friend!

The housemates this week have one thing in common- they all have kept a low profile in the show. If Rahul and Raja team up then they would definitely stay till the end. We will have to wait and watch for how long this relationship of mutual benefit lasts.
