The Journey So Far – Part 2

Here we are with the part 2 of the journey so far, the first part is here. The celebrities have completed 70 long days in the house of Bigg Boss. The game which started with 14 odd people from different walks of life has brought instant success for the newly launched channel ‘Colors’. Now only 6 people will battle it out for the huge prize money which has kept them going all this while.

After Ketaki Dave’s exit, the house lost its motherly figure. She was the kitchen queen and the cleanliness freak. After her eviction, Alina Khujrewalla was shown the door through a conspiracy which transpired at the time of open nominations. Alina was a commoner in the house of celebrities and was treated like a kid by them.

Sambhavna Seth took charge of the kitchen after Ketaki and Alina were ousted. Sambhavna, the Bhojpuri actress and an item girl became the drama queen of the house. Her temper got her instant recognition in the house. She had a tiff with almost every housemate. Ahsaan Qureshi was her only friend in the house.

The house has remained unlucky for the girls’ right from the beginning. While the girls kept losing their hold week after week, the boys remained safe and happy. The next week’s nomination only reaffirmed this belief with the eviction of Payal Rohatgi. The lady who remained Rahul Mahajan’s love interest in the show was quickly forgotten. The void in Rahul’s life in the house was filled much before her exit by Monika Bedi’s re-entry.

Finally, with just two girls remaining in the house and sex ratio becoming totally lopsided came the turn of boys. The first person to leave from the boys’ camp after the early exit of Sanjay Nirupam was Ahsaan Qureshi. This stand up comedian was treated like a senior citizen of the house. He himself admitted the generation gap he often felt in the house.

The Disco Dancer cum singer cum painter Debojit Saha was evicted this week by the audience. This was the fairest nomination that could have happened in the house as all the housemates were put in the danger zone.

Debojit in his interview with Pooja Bedi has predicted the victory of Rahul Mahajan owing to his childish ways. According to him, the most deserving housemates are Zulfi Syed and Diana Hayden as they have kept out of all the dirty politics which goes on.
